New General Manager for Nordic & Baltic Regions of Elavon Merchant Services

Oslo, Norway – 5 October 2010 –– Ketil Fridheim has been appointed general manager for Elavon Merchant Service’s Nordic and Baltic region, with effect from 1 October 2010. Fridheim is also appointed to senior vice president and has become a part of senior management in the European organization.

Fridheim has more than 20 years of national and international experience in the payments industry, most recently as CEO of PBS International AS in Norway and PBS International AB in Sweden. Before that, he was CEO of euroConex Technologies (now Elavon Merchant Services) Nordic and Deputy CEO and executive vice president of Europay Norge AS. He has also held senior management positions at the former (Telenor) Pos System AS, Unic Group AS, and Siemens Medical Systems. In addition to his technology background, Fridheim is an educated economist from BI. He also holds a master's degree MOM Management from BI.
