Faster Payments and Simplified Reconciliation
Thank you for choosing faster payments with Transend Pay. Our innovative solution replaces some of the paper check payments you receive today from insurance payers with electronic deposits to your bank account. It is designed to accelerate payment, enable process automation and reduce paper clutter.
Claim payments from participating insurance payers are automatically deposited to your bank account on file with Elavon. All of these payments are reported on your bank statement and MerchantConnect.com. Paper EOBs (explanation of benefits) are replaced with ERA (electronic versions of the EOB) and made available for download from an online portal managed by ECHO Health in coordination with Change Healthcare.
Elavon does not have access to your patient’s protected health information. This data will be provided through ECHO Health in coordination with Change Healthcare (formerly Emdeon).
A flat 1.5% fee will be applied on each transaction. Unlike credit cards and third party billing companies, no other fees apply.
