Transend Pay

Transend Pay Resources

A flat 1.5% transaction fee will be applied on each payment that is processed through Transend Pay. Unlike a credit card transaction and third party billing companies, no other fees apply.

While checks received directly by a healthcare provider may have little to no direct cost, the indirect costs associated with paper check processes could be slowing down cash flow and hampering administrative effectiveness. Electronic deposits do not require staff to open mail, manually record payments and arrange bank deposits so Transend Pay offers time saving versus checks.

Some of our healthcare customers are currently receiving payments via Transend Pay. Payment activity is dependent on the number and frequency of payments you receive from participating insurance payers. As more insurance payers register to participate in Transend Pay, more of your check payments will be converted to electronic deposits. Your primary bank account is based on your organization’s corporate account. If you are unsure which account is designated as your corporate account, please contact our customer care team at 1-855-806-1394.

Our Healthcare customers who choose to opt-out will continue to receive payments by paper check and nothing will change in how payments are disbursed to your organization.

Customers who were auto-enrolled in Transend Pay will receive payments via Transend Pay until Elavon receives an opt-out request. Once an opt-out request is received, it may take up to 2 business days to reinstate payer payments by paper check.

Customers are welcome to opt-out or opt-in at any time. We recognize your organization has established processes for managing payments and you may need time to adjust these processes to maximize the effectiveness of Transend Pay.

You can set-up email alerts in ECHO Health’s Provider Payments portal (www.providerpayments.com) or Change Healthcare Payment Manager. The email alerts notify you when a new ERA is available, which also indicates that the related claim payment has been deposited to your account.

Payment information is reported on you bank statements and through Elavon Merchant Connect. The ERAs are available for download from the ECHO Health Provider Payments portal (www.providerpayments.com).

Electronic Remittance Advices are available through ECHO Health Provider Payments portal. ECHO Health adopted Transend Pay as a means for their payers to deliver payments to providers. The portal is located at www.providerpayments.com. A user guide for the ECHO Provider Payments portal is available in the FAQ section of this website.

If you do not have access to the ECHO Health portal, please visit www.providerpayments.com to request access. There is a link to a registration form on the main home page where you can submit a request. If you encounter problems with registration, please contact ECHO Health for support at 1-888-834-3511.

If you have access to Change Healthcare’s Payment Manager portal, you can also view your ERAs in that system.

Elavon will not have access to your patient’s protected health information. This data will be provided by ECHO Health in coordination with Change Healthcare.
