Shailesh Kotwal is vice chair, U.S. Bancorp Payment Services. Appointed to the position in March 2015, Kotwal leads a division that provides digital and card-based payment and money movement capabilities to consumers, businesses and institutions of all sizes in North America and Europe. Kotwal has more than 30 years of experience in international financial services. He has managed a number of businesses throughout in his career including consumer banking, payments and cards, wealth management, insurance, mortgages, deposits and lending in 30 different countries across North and South America, Asia Pacific and Europe.
Prior to his appointment at U.S. Bank, Kotwal served as executive vice president, Retail Banking Products and Services with TD Bank Group and also served as president, International for EFD│eFunds Corporation, a leader in electronic payment processing. For 18 years his impressive career at American Express included various senior management positions at American Express in New York, Europe and Asia Pacific, including divisional CFO and executive director and region head. Kotwal is a Chartered Accountant and holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. He serves on the board of Early Warning Systems (Zelle) and the New York City chapter of the American Red Cross
Jamie Walker has been with Elavon since 2001 and served as chief executive officer since 2017. He is responsible for Elavon’s global acquiring business, operating with more than 4,000 employees in the United States, Canada and throughout Europe.
Since joining Elavon, Walker’s leadership roles have spanned many areas. They include leading accounting operations, managing acquisitions and international expansion as chief financial officer, and assessing risk and opportunities for strategic growth in the role of chief administrative officer for U.S. Bank’s Payment Services division. Prior to Elavon, Walker was a senior accountant at Ernst & Young.
Walker holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Marketing from Emory University. He is active in the Atlanta community and serves on the board of directors for the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of Commerce, Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) and American Transaction Processors Coalition (ATPC).
As Executive Vice President, Global Head of Corporate Strategy & Development, Manny Cofresi Jr. oversees Elavon’s global strategy, mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining Elavon, Manny held various senior executive roles within Automatic Data Processing, including Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development, membership on the International Executive Committee, and acted as a Board Member for ADP’s operations in Mainland China. He has also served as a Strategic Advisor to WestSphere, a Private Equity firm, and as an Investment Banker at Merrill Lynch and Citigroup.
Manny has an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Device Physics from Cornell University, a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation, and a Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is also a Director Member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association.
As head of acquiring risk and compliance, Chad Calvin is responsible for providing a holistic view on business line risks as well as U.S. Bank risk framework implementation within the business. He leads a team that assesses new industry trends and emerging risks across Elavon. Calvin is also responsible for driving business enablement through business line engagement while maintaining risk frameworks that address regulatory, operational and reputational risks across the organization.
Prior to his appointment in March 2020, Calvin served as senior vice president and held program and project management positions across Audit, Controller, Treasury, Mortgage and Compliance divisions at U.S. Bank from June 2007 until March 2020.
Calvin holds a bachelor’s degree in in Finance and Entrepreneurship from University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in Business Administration from University of St. Thomas. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified SAFe Agilist (SA). Calvin serves on the American Transaction Processors Coalition (ATPC) COVID-19 Task Force and U.S. Bank Dynamic Dozen Alumni Board, and is ethics ambassador for U.S. Bank Payment Services.
Lauren Giles is senior vice president and associate general counsel at U.S. Bank and chief counsel of the bank’s payment processing and merchant acquiring subsidiary Elavon. She has overall responsibility for the bank’s Retail Payment Solutions business, as well as the global Elavon legal team.
Giles joined Elavon in January 2020 from Alston & Bird, where she was a partner on the Payment Systems team and co-leader of the Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology team. While at Alston & Bird, she specialized in payment card issuing and acquiring,merchant processing and new payment product development. In particular, she focused on the development of person-to-person and faster payment systems.
Giles has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Creative Writing from Emory University and a Juris Doctorate from New York University Law School. She is a member of the National Leadership Board of the Michael C. Carlos Museum.
As chief of staff to the Elavon CEO, Kim Osborn is responsible for planning and directing key initiatives on behalf of the CEO and managing communication within the senior leadership team and the broader organization. In addition, Osborn is the head of employee experience at Elavon, focusing on creating a positive experience and increased engagement with employees across the global footprint.
Before joining Elavon in 2018, Osborn was a consultant at North Highland. In this role, she led the brand strategy practice and was a senior project delivery leader, specializing in customer and employee experience, branding and marketing.
Osborn holds a bachelor’s degree in Advertising from the University of Florida. She serves on the board for the Women of Atlanta Business Resource Group and is the chair of the Elavon Global Engagement Steering Committee.
Brad W. Hoffelt joined U.S. Bank as the Chief Financial Officer for the Corporate Payments division in ’16. In 2020, his responsibilities expanded to include the Prepaid and Global Treasury Management divisions. In 2023, his role expanded to include Elavon.
Formerly he was the SVP & General Manager of Financial Services at GE Capital Corporate Finance, where he led the financial services platforms for Middle Market Lending & Leasing, Transportation Finance and Fleet Services Markets. In this role, Brad was responsible for leading the product platforms (e.g. financing, services, funding, etc…), the customer facing technology development and the analytics/consulting organizations for the business.
Brad graduated from the University of North Dakota with a BA in Accounting, received an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and attended the Executive Program at the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) School of Business. Additionally, he graduated from GE’s Executive Financial Leadership Program and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
He joined GE Capital in ‘97 as financial analyst in the Equipment Services Business and progressed through several financial leadership roles. He became the Chief Financial Officer of the North American Fleet Business in ‘01. He then was appointed as the Global Planning and Analysis Leader for the Capital Solutions business in ’05 after which he went on to serve as the Global Controller for the business. In ’10, he was appointed was promoted to SVP, Consulting Services for the Transportation Finance businesses. In ’12, Brad was appointed as SVP & General Manager of Financial Services.
Brad has also served as a Board Director of Common Bond Communities in St. Paul Minnesota from ’15 to ‘22. Common Bond is one the largest non-profit housing development organizations in the U.S., serving over 25k residents.
Brad and his wife Sandra have three children and live in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
As Chief Product Officer, Pari Sawant spearheads Elavon’s product portfolio, acting as a strategic leader, visionary, and champion for product advancements across the organization.
Prior to joining Elavon in 2022, Sawant served as Head of Product at Adobe, where he led the Document Cloud business on Adobe.com, enabling consumers, small businesses, and enterprises to discover and buy digital document products and solutions. Sawant also led the launch of machine learning and AI capabilities on the Adobe Experience Platform. Prior to Adobe, Sawant held diverse senior product and technology leadership roles with MetricStream, Fiserv, eBay and Hewlett-Packard for more than 20 years. At Fiserv, he led the product launch of Popmoney, the first bank-centric P2P payments network to more than 2000 financial institutions and millions of consumers.
Sawant has an MBA from the Haas School of Business, Berkeley and a Masters in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
As Executive Vice President, Buy Now Pay Later / POS Lending, Mia Huntington brings more than 20 years of financial services experience and a background in technology solutions to Elavon. With a reputation for driving results and successfully executing strategy, Huntington currently leads Elavon’s Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) business, which strives to deliver compelling customer solutions to the market and develop commercial models in one of the fastest growing areas of the organization.
In addition to her current role and prior to joining Elavon in 2001, including her tenure as the General Manager for Elavon Canada, Huntington held roles at both ICONIX and Unisys Canada.
Huntington holds a bachelor’s degree from McMaster University in Canada and is a member of U.S. Bank Americas Holdings Board, as well as the Women in Payments Advisory Board.
As Executive Vice President, Payment Services Operations, Scott Lippert is responsible for Customer Experience and Operations for Credit and Debit Cards, Elavon Merchant Acquiring and Corporate Payments and Treasury Services. These operations include front, middle and back-office functions in the U.S. and Europe.
Prior to joining U.S. Bank in 2020, Lippert worked at USAA for 5 years, serving as Chief Administration Officer and Head of Shared Services, as well as Chief Strategy Officer for USAA Bank. Lippert also worked as an Associate Partner for McKinsey & Company and as a Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy.
Lippert holds a Masters in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and a B.S. from Virginia Tech in Business. He also serves on the Board of Directors for McCormick Research Institute, whose mission is to serve veterans and individuals with special needs through equine assisted therapy.
As Chief Information Officer, Rachel Hansen leads payment technology for U.S. Bank and Elavon, where she has worked tirelessly to enact fresh ideas, collaborate, and lead a team of more than 2,500. Hansen is heavily focused on advancing U.S. Bank and Elavon technologies through business alignment, developing an overarching technology strategy and implementation plan.
Since joining U.S. Bank and Elavon in 2003, Hansen has held several roles across the organization including her tenure in Corporate Payment Systems, Financial Crime and Fraud Technology, Compliance and Enterprise Services and more. Hansen also serves on the Board of Directors for Pivital, a global IT project management firm and is an Executive Sponsor of Elavon’s partnership with the Georgia Fintech Academy.
Hansen has a Bachelor of Business, Information Technology from the University of Colorado and continued her education obtaining a Banking Graduate Degree from the Pacific Coast Banking School.
Akash Dua was named Chief Credit Officer for Elavon in October 2020, leading the global credit and fraud risk management organization, which oversees underwriting and loss prevention at Elavon, as well as airline credit globally. In addition, Dua is also responsible for the credit risk management of small business credit cards. Prior to his current role, Dua served as the Senior Vice President of Consumer Risk Management at U.S. Bank, where he led the teams responsible for portfolio management, authorization, payments risk, digital risk, modeling and first party fraud.
Before joining U.S. Bank in 2018, Dua worked for Amazon in product leadership for their NA co-branded credit card programs. Additionally, Dua’s experience includes risk leadership roles at Lending Club and American Express and consulting roles at Fair Issac, where he delivered predictive science and scoring projects to clients across the US, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.
Dua holds an MBA in Finance from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and graduated with honors in Economics from Delhi University.
Nicole Tackett is the as head of Merchant for Corporate and Commercial Banking. In this role, Nicole collaborates with leaders across Elavon and Corporate and Commercial Banking to develop business, product and revenue management strategies on behalf of vertical specialty groups across U.S. Bank, including teams that serve airlines, hospitality and healthcare.
Nicole joined U.S. Bank nine years ago. She helped grow the business in Corporate Payment Solutions (CPS) through a sharp focus on B2B payments strategy and innovation as the Head of Strategy and Chief Product Officer. Nicole positioned U.S. Bank as a commercial issuing market leader through platform investments, sales and marketing strategy, and supplier acceptance, and portfolio optimization within the large and middle market segments. Integral in the TravelBank acquisition in 2021, Nicole oversaw a successful integration and launch of an integrated card, expense, and travel solution that will serve the Emerging Middle Market via the TravelBank platform. In 2018 and 2021, Nicole was named Most Influential Women in Payments by Payments Source.
Prior to joining U.S. Bank, Nicole managed Global Product and Marketing at WEX Inc. leading the globalization of its commercial card product, building international brand awareness, creating lead generation strategies to sustain growth, and developing customer retention strategies.
Nicole resides with her husband in Portland, ME along with their two children, Madeline (11) and Jack (6) and their two Labradors. She is an avid runner and swimmer. Nicole earned a BBA from the University of Georgia and her MBA from the University of Maryland.
As Chief Revenue Officer at Elavon, Brian Mahony leads the acquisition and retention of partners and customers that use Elavon’s services.
Prior to his appointment, Mahony was the chief financial officer, responsible for strategic planning, corporate development, finance, pricing & profitability, business intelligence and project management. He previously managed several business areas, including Elavon’s Mexico business, Product and Innovation, Marketing and Project Management.
Before joining Elavon in 2004, Mahony worked as a consultant for Vision Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers. In these roles, he helped executive teams refine strategy and delivered business and technology programs in the finance, entertainment, and high-tech business sectors.
Mahony holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from University College Cork in Ireland and a master’s degree in business administration from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Atlanta’s Woodruff Arts Center and a member of the Special Olympics Georgia Honorary Board.

In this role, Nicole collaborates with leaders across Elavon and Corporate and Commercial Banking to develop business, product and revenue management strategies on behalf of vertical specialty groups across U.S. Bank, including teams that serve airlines, hospitality and healthcare.
Nicole joined U.S. Bank nine years ago. She helped grow the business in Corporate Payment Solutions (CPS) through a sharp focus on B2B payments strategy and innovation as the Head of Strategy and Chief Product Officer. Nicole positioned U.S. Bank as a commercial issuing market leader through platform investments, sales and marketing strategy, and supplier acceptance, and portfolio optimization within the large and middle market segments. Integral in the TravelBank acquisition in 2021, Nicole oversaw a successful integration and launch of an integrated card, expense, and travel solution that will serve the Emerging Middle Market via the TravelBank platform. In 2018 and 2021, Nicole was named Most Influential Women in Payments by Payments Source.
Prior to joining U.S. Bank, Nicole managed Global Product and Marketing at WEX Inc. leading the globalization of its commercial card product, building international brand awareness, creating lead generation strategies to sustain growth, and developing customer retention strategies.
Nicole resides with her husband in Portland, ME along with their two children, Madeline (11) and Jack (6) and their two Labradors. She is an avid runner and swimmer. Nicole earned a BBA from the University of Georgia and her MBA from the University of Maryland.
As Chief Revenue Officer at Elavon, Brian Mahony leads the acquisition and retention of partners and customers that use Elavon’s services.
Prior to his appointment, Mahony was the chief financial officer, responsible for strategic planning, corporate development, finance, pricing & profitability, business intelligence and project management. He previously managed several business areas, including Elavon’s Mexico business, Product and Innovation, Marketing and Project Management.
Before joining Elavon in 2004, Mahony worked as a consultant for Vision Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers. In these roles, he helped executive teams refine strategy and delivered business and technology programs in the finance, entertainment, and high-tech business sectors.
Mahony holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from University College Cork in Ireland and a master’s degree in business administration from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Atlanta’s Woodruff Arts Center and a member of the Special Olympics Georgia Honorary Board.
